While Wurlitzer was making electronic pianos, they were also making another cool product, with great analog sound. This product was called the Music Learning Module or MLM. It was intended for students to get used to playing a keyboard, or perhaps even an organ. Housed in a durable plastic case, with a no-frills analog circuit, it’s now perfect for studio use.

Usually found in blue, this MLM looks sleek in a rare black colorway. A cool detail: its plastic case resembles the texture of the Wurlitzer 200 lid.

This Wurlitzer MLM has excellent cosmetics. It does have some scuffs, but shows very well, and would look great in any studio or writing space. It has a single straightforward sound, like a sine wave, which makes it very well-suited for pedals and effects. Initially intended as a teaching tool, this is a very portable vintage keyboard with a unique synth-like tone.
