This 1950s light was originally used for photography. The power cord was deteriorated when we received it (just because of the type of plastic used for the insulation), so we cut it, since we were mostly interested in its display potential. It has a very cool marbled Bakelite handle, great vintage typography and brightly colored control buttons.
However, it could likely be rewired to be used as a functional light again. (Maybe even a cool light fixture?)
