Our M-series preamp has a powered input that provides voltage to your Wurlitzer pickup, and gives you a 1/4” aux output to send your keyboard’s sound wherever you would like!

This preamp can be installed inside 140-series Wurlitzers, as well as a Wurlitzer 120, 700, or 720.

About the Tropical Fish M1 preamp

The Aux output on this preamp is suitable for plugging directly into your recording console or any an external amplifier.

The included wiring harness is long enough for the chassis to mount in the instrument cabinet and reach the cheek block or lid of your 140, 145, or 120 Wurlitzer.

An extra long control harness (for a 700 or 720) can be made.

The M1 control harness includes a volume potentiometer and an LED.


About the Tropical Fish M2 preamp

All of the features of the M1, plus:

The M2 control harness includes a volume potentiometer, a Vibrato depth potentiometer and an LED.

Select “M2 + speed pot” to add a third potentiometer that controls the speed of your vibrato.
